Our History
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles®, Inc. Despite setbacks, including a devastating fire, the business grew.
From a sole proprietorship with one employee, to a corporation with over 200 employees, J&P Cycles® has flourished on the outskirts of Anamosa, Iowa.
In 1995 and 1996, the headquarters almost doubled in size. With the opening of a new warehouse and retail showroom, the companies doubled in size again in 2000 to over 65,000 square feet.
